For this being my first piece of art here, I'm scared as hell. So pleeeease, don't shoot me :F
I'm not even sure what to write here, that's why I'm just babbling about random stuff >_<;
Oboro. That's his name. I really, really, really adore him, what a glompable little freak-nin <3 Oboro is from the manga/anime-series Naruto, all belonging to the creator Masashi Kishimoto (who is a god, btw).
Oboro ending up looking like a spoiled kid in a photo was actually an accident, believe it or not. But I think it suits him xDD
Did this with the help of my own two hands, pen, eraser which does not exist anymore coz I killed it, and a mountain of colouring pencils (or whatever they are called).
Lucky!
I'm your first critque I guess! Don't worry, this place isn't scary at all, in fact, it's sometimes not scary enough, 95% of comments you get here consist of just 'cool!' or 'ur art is really gud!' etc.
The colouring on this pic is really, really well done. I love how the tones are so subtle. The tones you've used on the skin in particular are superb. It's also cool that you've gone for a more unusual character from the show, not just somebody popular like Sasuke or Kakashi.
I look forward to seeing more from you!

Train, train, take us away... take us away, far away, To the future we will go, where it stops, nobody knows.
What comes to choosing this character, I rarely draw chars that I hate. And Sasuke is one of them >_< Actually, Kakashi might be the one I'm drawing most, even though he's the one I can least draw *sob*
So I think this Oboro-drawing is a kind of a black sheep of the family, for I'm usually drawing pathetic sketches of the most popular characters :B

There are a few cool minor characters in Naruto, but generally the major characters have much more interesting designs, so they're more fun to draw. There's only so much you can do with minor characters and half the time nobody remembers them.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
